| Mounting Orientation | Vertical only (input bottom, output top) |
The WDR-120-24 supports TS35 DIN rail mounting with specific ventilation clearance and orientation requirements for reliable operation.
The appropriate mounting orientation is vertical — input terminals at the bottom and output terminals at the top. Upside-down, horizontal or table-top mounting is not allowed, as sufficient cooling will not be possible.
Always allow good ventilation clearances around the unit: 5 mm left and right, 40 mm above and 20 mm below, to prevent overheating. When the adjacent device is a heat source, keep 15 mm clearance.
Admissible DIN rail: TS35/7.5 or TS35/15. Tilt the unit slightly rearwards, fit over the top hat rail, slide it downward until it hits the stop, press against the bottom for locking, then shake slightly to check the locking action.
The FG (Frame Ground) terminal must be connected to PE (Protective Earth) for safety and to ensure proper EMC performance.
The WDR-120-24 operates from −25°C to +70°C, with derating required above +50°C. Do not install near fire sources or in high ambient temperature locations.
Install the unit only in a pollution degree 2 environment — typically dry, well-ventilated locations such as control cabinets. Do not install in places with high moisture or near water.
The WDR-120-24 uses two terminal blocks: TB1 for input and TB2 for output. TB2 pin order differs from other WDR models — verify the terminal label before wiring.
| Pin No. | Assignment |
|---|---|
| 1 | FG (Frame Ground) |
| 2 | AC/L2 |
| 3 | AC/L1 |
For single-phase: L1 to live, L2 to neutral. For two-phase: L1 and L2 to two phases of a three-phase network (no neutral needed).
| Pin No. | Assignment |
|---|---|
| 1, 2 | DC OK relay contact (30V/1A) |
| 3 | DC OUTPUT −V |
| 4 | DC OUTPUT +V |
Note: The WDR-120 TB2 pin order places the relay contact first. This differs from the WDR-60 (output first) and WDR-240 (relay first, then +V, then −V). Verify terminal labels before wiring.
The FG pin must be connected to PE (Protective Earth). The DC OK relay contact is a dry contact — do not use it as a power output. For two-phase input, both AC/L1 and AC/L2 must be connected to live phases; do not connect either to neutral.

Note: Pollution Degree 2 applies where there is only non-conductive pollution that might temporarily become conductive due to occasional condensation. Generally refers to dry, well-ventilated locations, such as control cabinets.
The WDR-120-24 is suitable for 380V/400V/480V industrial systems, two-phase networks without a neutral, semiconductor fabrication equipment, factory automation and telecommunication installations.

The DAPPRA WDR-120-24 (SKU: OF61) is a 120W single-output industrial DIN rail power supply providing 24V DC at 5A. It accepts an ultra-wide 180–550VAC single-phase or two-phase input and features a built-in DC OK relay contact, 3KVAC I/O isolation, and 91% typical efficiency at 400VAC.
The WDR-120-24 supports an ultra-wide AC input range of 180–550VAC (single-phase or two-phase) and 254–780VDC. It is suitable for 220V, 380V, 400V and 480V mains networks, as well as two-phase operation of a three-phase system without a neutral.
No. Within the WDR Series, built-in active PFC is available on the WDR-240 and WDR-480 models only. The WDR-120-24 is designed without active PFC and is intended for applications where PFC is not a system requirement.
The WDR-120-24 achieves 91% typical efficiency at 400VAC input and full load. Actual efficiency varies with input voltage and load conditions.
The WDR-120-24 has a 24–29V output adjustment range via the front-panel +V ADJ potentiometer. The 29V upper limit is approximately 20.8% above the 24V nominal; verify that every connected 24V device tolerates the higher voltage before turning the potentiometer up.
Over-voltage protection triggers at 29–33V for the 24V model. The output shuts down and recovers automatically after the fault condition is removed.
The WDR-120-24 uses 105–130% rated output power constant-current limiting with automatic recovery after the fault is removed. It does not have the delayed shutdown behavior found on the WDR-240 and WDR-480.
The WDR-120-24 provides 3KVAC isolation between input and output. This is lower than the 4.7KVAC reinforced isolation on the WDR-60, but sufficient for most industrial control applications.
TB1 (Input): Pin 1 = FG, Pin 2 = AC/L2, Pin 3 = AC/L1. TB2 (Output, 4 pins): Pins 1,2 = DC OK relay contact; Pin 3 = DC OUTPUT −V; Pin 4 = DC OUTPUT +V. The TB2 order differs from the WDR-60 and WDR-240 — verify the terminal label before wiring.
Yes. The WDR-120-24 includes a built-in DC OK relay contact rated 30V/1A resistive load on TB2 pins 1 and 2. Contact Close = PSU turns on / DC OK; Contact Open = PSU turns off / DC Fail.
The WDR-120-24 operates from −25°C to +70°C with free air convection cooling. Derating is required above +50°C ambient.
The WDR-120-24 measures 40 × 125.2 × 113.5 mm (W × H × D) and weighs approximately 0.65 kg. The 40 mm slim metal housing saves DIN rail space in control cabinets.
Yes. The WDR-120-24 is designed for both single-phase and two-phase operation. For two-phase input, connect AC/L1 and AC/L2 to two phases of a three-phase network without a neutral. This is particularly useful in 380V/400V/480V systems where a neutral conductor is not available.
The WDR-120-24 is certified to UL508 and EAC TP TC 004, and complies with BS EN/EN61000-6-2 (BS EN/EN50082-2) industrial immunity level and BS EN/EN55032 Class B EMC emission. Confirm certificate coverage for your destination market.
The WDR-120-24 has a minimum MTBF of 1509.6K hours (Telcordia SR-332) and 268.1K hours (MIL-HDBK-217F at 25°C), reflecting the long-life design of the WDR Series.
