Vertical Orientation Only
The appropriate mounting orientation is vertical — input terminals at the bottom and output terminals at the top. Upside-down, horizontal or table-top mounting is not allowed, as sufficient cooling will not be possible.

Always allow good ventilation clearances around the unit: 5 mm left and right, 40 mm above and 20 mm below, to prevent overheating. When the adjacent device is a heat source, keep 100–150 mm clearance.

Admissible DIN rail: TS35/7.5 or TS35/15. Tilt the unit slightly rearwards, fit over the top hat rail, slide it downward until it hits the stop, press against the bottom for locking, then shake slightly to check the locking action.

The HDR-15-12 has no FG/PE terminal because it is Class II double insulated. Connect AC/L (pin 4) to live and AC/N (pin 3) to neutral. The DC output +V (pin 1) and −V (pin 2) connect to the load. Always verify the terminal label before wiring — the HDR-15 pin order differs from the HDR-30.

DC Output Voltage Adjustment
The HDR-15-12 includes a front-panel +V ADJ potentiometer with a 10.8–13.8V adjustment range and a power-on LED indicator. Output current and wattage must not exceed the rated 1.25A / 15W. The narrow ±10% adjustment window is sufficient for voltage-drop compensation without exceeding the tolerance of most 12V devices.

Read and follow all safety instructions before installing, wiring, maintaining or modifying the HDR-15-12 power supply.
- Risk of electrical shock and energy hazard. All failure should be examined by a qualified technician. Do not remove the case of the power supply yourself.
- Connecting both the primary and the secondary sides together is not allowed — risk of electric arcs and electric shock (danger to life).
- Risk of burn hazard. Do not touch the unit in operation and shortly after disconnection.
- Risk of fire and short circuit. The openings should be protected from foreign objects or dripping liquids.
- Output current and output wattage must not exceed the rated 1.25A / 15W.
- Before commencing any installation, maintenance or modification work, disconnect the system from supply voltage. Make sure that inadvertent connection in circuit will be impossible.
- Although the HDR-15-12 is Class II and requires no PE connection, the final equipment must still comply with applicable safety and EMC directives.
- The power supply is considered a component which will be installed into a final equipment. The final equipment must be re-confirmed that it still meets EMC directives.
Note: Pollution Degree 2 applies where there is only non-conductive pollution that might temporarily become conductive due to occasional condensation. Generally refers to dry, well-ventilated locations, such as control cabinets.

No FG/PE pin — Class II double insulation. AC/N is pin 3 and AC/L is pin 4 on the HDR-15. This differs from the HDR-30 (AC/L pin 3, AC/N pin 4). Verify terminal labels before wiring.

The HDR-15-12 has no FG/PE terminal because it is Class II double insulated. Connect AC/L (pin 4) to live and AC/N (pin 3) to neutral. The DC output +V (pin 1) and −V (pin 2) connect to the load. Always verify the terminal label before wiring — the HDR-15 pin order differs from the HDR-30.

DC Output Voltage Adjustment
The HDR-15-12 includes a front-panel +V ADJ potentiometer with a 10.8–13.8V adjustment range and a power-on LED indicator. Output current and wattage must not exceed the rated 1.25A / 15W. The narrow ±10% adjustment window is sufficient for voltage-drop compensation without exceeding the tolerance of most 12V devices.

HDR-15-12 Safety & Cautions
Read and follow all safety instructions before installing, wiring, maintaining or modifying the HDR-15-12 power supply.
- Risk of electrical shock and energy hazard. All failure should be examined by a qualified technician. Do not remove the case of the power supply yourself.
- Connecting both the primary and the secondary sides together is not allowed — risk of electric arcs and electric shock (danger to life).
- Risk of burn hazard. Do not touch the unit in operation and shortly after disconnection.
- Risk of fire and short circuit. The openings should be protected from foreign objects or dripping liquids.
- Output current and output wattage must not exceed the rated 1.25A / 15W.
- Before commencing any installation, maintenance or modification work, disconnect the system from supply voltage. Make sure that inadvertent connection in circuit will be impossible.
- Although the HDR-15-12 is Class II and requires no PE connection, the final equipment must still comply with applicable safety and EMC directives.
- The power supply is considered a component which will be installed into a final equipment. The final equipment must be re-confirmed that it still meets EMC directives.
Note: Pollution Degree 2 applies where there is only non-conductive pollution that might temporarily become conductive due to occasional condensation. Generally refers to dry, well-ventilated locations, such as control cabinets.
